Formed in 2015, ATOM maintains and operates bulk fuel terminals across Australia, specialising in managing all aspects of terminal activities for our customers ranging from storage and handling of bulk liquid fuels to maintenance and engineering services.

About the Role
Our Terminal Operator - Shift Relief role assists in managing and controlling the safe and efficient running of the terminal.
Day to day you can expect to assist in:
- Managing daily terminal operations ensuring safety and reliability at all times
- Working with contractors to ensure HSSE and terminal operating rules and regulations are being followed
- Monitoring and maintaining site integrity through hazard/risk identification and control implementation
- Accountability for pipeline and tankship product receipting.
- Administration, reporting and scheduling, including maintaining policies & procedures and updating work instructions.
Our operations span across the week and flexibility is key component of this role is to relieve into a shift pattern for both planned and unplanned cover for other roles who work a shift roster basis. As such this role requires a high degree of flexibility to work day and night shift rosters, as required.
When not relieving into shift, this role will be required assist to manage our day to day terminal operations including shipping and bunkering operations (tankship discharges, loading bunkering vessels, and managing infrastructure to facilitate product transfers).
About You
Being a go-getter with a strong team-player attitude is essential, as is a willingness to learn new things, great time management skills and solid organisational skills. An eye for continuous improvement is a big plus, as well having a understanding of various MS software programs.
A flexible degree of availability is important too given the operational needs of our terminals span across all days of the week, so being able to occasionally step into a shift roster is essential.
Previous experience in high-risk environments is highly advantageous as safety is always our number one priority.
Permanent full work rights for Australia is mandatory.
