What you will be doingReporting directly to Coordinator, Postal Voting this role will be responsible for:
* Supporting the management of the Postal Vote / Replacement Vote projects for major election events.
* Assisting in the development of procedures and systems that contribute to the delivery of the Postal Vote / Replacement Vote projects.
* Supporting the Coordinator with the supervision of casual staff during the election delivery period and escalating issues as they arise.
* Ensuring compliance with process and procedures for the Postal Vote / Replacement Vote projects.
What you will bring to the role
* Demonstrated ability in resolving issues through following policy or process guidelines and contributing to improvement initiatives.
* Project management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communications skill with experience in developing effective procedural documentation and reports.
* Commitment to the VEC's core values
