The Opportunity

We are seeking Chef de Partie to join a distinguished culinary journey that reflects the soul of our destination through exceptional cuisine and refined service.

You will also be closely working with our Internal & external stakeholders to drive the success of the culinary journey at the Hotel and in the outlets.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's standards and recipes.
  • Ensuring dishes are executed to an extremely high quality.
  • Taking responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., Peppina restaurant in this case), also known as a "station" or “section.”
  • Guiding and developing staff, including any direct reports (e.g., Demi Chefs de Partie, Commis Chefs).
  • Being a frontline leader in charge of food preparation and kitchen service support areas.
  • Working calmly and accurately under pressure.
  • Demonstrating great time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Monitoring portion and waste control.
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive the success of the culinary journey at the Hotel and in the outlets.
  • Demonstrating a genuine passion for cooking and celebrating hospitality.

Our Chef de Partie team members will have previous experience in a similar position, and:

  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to connect with growers and showcase local produce.
  • Genuine passion for cooking and celebrating hospitality.
  • Ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure.
  • Great time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to execute dishes of extremely high quality.
  • Ability to work cleanly and safely to health and safety standards.
  • Full working rights in Australia
