  3. ASO3 ($67,589 - $72,033 per annum) + 11.5% Super

The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Financial Systems and Compliance Officer to join on a full-time term basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Contributing to the strategic delivery of financial management across the department.
  2. Providing high-level advice and support in the context of finance policy, accounting, financial administration and internal controls.
  3. Reviewing financial record management systems and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
  4. Facilitating high quality, responsive and flexible financial transaction and reporting functions to meet division business requirements.
  5. Providing administrative support to senior staff and back-up support for other administration staff as required during busy periods.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  1. Experience in providing high quality administrative or financial support services.
  2. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively, both in person and in writing.
  3. Experience in establishing and maintaining electronic records and filing systems.
  4. Extensive knowledge of office administration and business support practices.
  5. Extensive understanding of SA Government financial and administrative procedures, systems and practices.
