About the role
Reporting to the General Manager Industry Engagement, the Business Development Manager, Partnerships will help define and deliver innovative, market-led and growth-focused partner acquisition strategies within both new and existing sectors.
Using your hands on experience, sound commercial acumen, and understanding of business drivers in decision making, you will help to identify and unlock mutually beneficial, commercial relationships with valued partners and industry leaders across the city, in line with BEDA’s business objectives and growth aspirations.
Working collaboratively across the business, you will ensure an organisation wide approach to corporate and industry partnerships that maximise value exchange. Your ability to build strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be critical in successfully identifying, developing and positioning BEDA’s commercial assets and value proposition. You will apply industry, stakeholder, and research insights to create new and innovative commercial partnership propositions that position BEDA as a valuable and respected partner.
This is an exciting opportunity within a dynamic team that is passionate about making a difference every day. The right person for the role will enjoy being hands on and market-facing, developing new business from early-stage development through to delivery. With strong communication, presentation and negotiating skills, your proven ability to effectively build and manage diverse stakeholder relationships, influence outcomes, to prioritise and coordinate multiple tasks and collaborate well with others will ensure your success in the role.
