Are you a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer looking to work on residential and commercial construction projects? We are seeking a dedicated professional to design, plan, and supervise construction projects and maintenance of building structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, design, and develop construction projects plans, determine construction methods, materials and quality standards
- Conduct site investigations, assessments and feasibility studies
- Consult with clients on project requirements to provide technical advice and creative solutions for construction plans
- Prepare technical drawings, reports, specifications, procedures, and cost estimates for civil engineering projects
- Supervise and monitor construction to ensure compliance with government regulations, design standards, local zoning laws, and environment regulations
- Oversee construction activities and organize on-site crews, and the delivery of construction materials, plant, and equipment to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications
- Liaise with contractors, architectures, construction project manager, and government agencies to ensure that all requirements are understood and met
- Assist with the preparation of tender submissions and sourcing sub-contractors quotations.
- Ensure construction projects are delivered on time, with budget, and to the highest quality standards
What We’re looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management
- Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc…)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High-attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a high performing team environment
- Knowledge of Australian building codes, council approvals, and environment standards
