Are you an experienced project manager and effective communicator, with a strong track record in planning and delivering complex projects?
The Water Infrastructure Projects Section within the Water and Catchments Group at DEECA is seeking a skilled project manage. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to Victoria's implementation of the Murray-Darling Basin Plan through the delivery of the Constraints Measures Project, which supports efficient water management and improved environmental outcomes.
In this role, you will work closely with a range of stakeholders—including community groups, government agencies, and other organisations. We are looking for someone with experience in project management (ideally in natural resource management) and stakeholder engagement, particularly across regional communities and government. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who is also comfortable working independently.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- An appropriate qualification or extensive experience in natural resource or infrastructure related project design and delivery is required but not essential.
- A knowledge of the Victorian water industry is desirable.
This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 June 2026. The work location for this position is Flexible within Victoria (office based at 8 Nicholson Street, Melbourne) with hybrid work arrangements available.
