About the role:

As a Casemix Data Management Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of Casemix data, which is crucial for healthcare funding, resource allocation, and performance monitoring. Your expertise will directly impact the delivery of high-quality healthcare services across Southern Metropolitan Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities of this role will include:

• Developing and implementing robust data management strategies to ensure the accurate capture, processing, and reporting of Casemix data.
• Collaboration with clinical teams, coders, and analysts to streamline data collection processes and improve data quality.
• Identifying and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Providing training and support to end-users on data management processes and systems.

About you:

• Ability to work together as a team to achieve objectives in a climate of significant change, with a commitment to a team orientated philosophy.
• Self-motivated, organised, demonstrated initiative and an ability to operate independently while remaining focussed on agreed objectives that may have competing priorities meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise and logical manner with all levels of personnel with varying levels of information technology literacy with regard to technical, business and administrative matters.

To excel in this role, you will possess a strong background in healthcare data management, coding, or a related field, combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools and a deep understanding of casemix classifications and coding standards are essential.
