About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team and contribute to advancing research in the areas of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), and Bone Marrow Failure Syndrome (BMFS). In this vital role, you will assist in the development and maintenance of clinical databases for patients with these conditions, supporting critical research activities that help shape the future of treatment and care. You will be working closely under the direction of the Head of AML MDS/Research Group, playing an integral part in data management and analysis to support groundbreaking research.
As a key member of the research team, you will also ensure that all research activities are in line with up-to-date ethics and governance approvals, contributing to the smooth delivery of high-quality research support services. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about research to gain experience in a collaborative, innovative environment and make a meaningful impact on healthcare outcomes for patients with these complex conditions.
About You
You are a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for research. With strong analytical skills and a commitment to contributing to groundbreaking research, you will bring your expertise in database management and data analysis to support vital healthcare projects.

Bachelor's degree in Science, Health Science, Allied Health, Nursing, or a related discipline.

Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with strong problem-solving skills.

Extensive experience in database management, data collection, analysis, and statistical reporting.

Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and provide clear, concise reports and briefings.
