As Our Operations Coordinator (Aerial) You Will
- Adhere to operating procedures applicable to the work area including receiving and processing documentation and information regarding aerial treatment and aerial surveillance activities in accordance with relevant CASA Legislation and Orders; Qld Legislation, Qld Procurement Requirements under QGCPO609 and the Departments' Aviation Safety Policy, Aviation Risk Assessment and Management Procedures.
- Demonstrate thorough written and verbal communication skills to enable communication with various teams within the program including aerial operations, program office and the community regarding aerial treatment and aerial surveillance activities.
- Undertake research / investigation and analysis in collaboration with other business areas to identify opportunities for the program to engage with target areas or audiences in relation to the program's aerial operations.
- Ensure a high level of record keeping as per established information management principles and relevant statutory, legislative, policy and procedures.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of work area procedures including assessing, investigating and making recommendations regarding systems and processes relevant to aerial operations in accordance with the governance and program requirements.
- Use effective problem solving to assist in the investigation of alleged breaches of legislation relating to aerial operations, including assisting in planning, gathering evidence, conducting interviews and collecting witness statements.
- Participate in mandatory training applicable to this position including the completion of PUAFIR209B: Work safely around aircraft.
