We’re on the lookout for an experienced Accountant to become part of our dynamic and driven team.
As a key player in our Financial Accounting and Reporting division, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate, timely financial statements and supporting the reporting needs of our diverse client base. Your expertise will directly contribute to the success and growth of our practice, and you’ll enjoy working in a supportive, team-oriented environment that values integrity, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing
- Preparing financial statements, income tax returns including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Satisfying FBT and BAS reporting obligations including Superannuation lodgement obligations
- Analysing financial data and providing insightful recommendations to clients to improve their financial performance
- Collaborating with the broader accounting team to ensure seamless period-end and year-end close processes
- Providing exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns
- Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and advising clients accordingly
- Mentoring and training junior members of the accounting team as required
What we're looking for
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA or CA qualification (or working towards it)
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in an accounting role, preferably in a public practice or professional services environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
- A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members
