About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated IT professional to join our team, coordinating the IT services of Council with a strategic focus to ensure the Council’s IT functions operate progressively, effectively, and efficiently.

This role is responsible for providing specialist technical skills, advice and judgement in facilitating Council staff and management to deliver the objectives of Councils various service areas through the provision of progressive, efficient and effective Information Technology services and infrastructure.

About You

Our ideal candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related field or possess equivalent industry experience in a business environment.

Strong negotiation skills, high level analytical and problem solving ability, and attention to detail are skills and qualities that will assist with your success in this role. You will be able to demonstrate your ability and prior experience working in an Information Technology field.

We are looking for a highly motivated, positive self-starter with the right skills and attitude to provide an exceptional service to our stakeholders.
