Are you a passionate and experienced support worker looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are currently seeking a dedicated Mental Health / Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to a client living in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment in South Ripley .About the Role:
You will be working closely with a young individual whose interests include Marvel , anime , and computer gaming . The role involves supporting the client at both their own home and family residence. Key duties include:
- Assisting with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and promoting independence
- Implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP) and managing restrictive practices
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Mental Health, or equivalent
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Experience with PBSP and restrictive practices essential
Week 1 :
- Thursday 4pm - 10pm (active) then 10pm - 6am sleepover
- Saturday 2pm - 10pm (active) then 10pm - 6am sleepover
- Thursday 4pm - 10pm (active) then 10pm - 6am sleepover
- Saturday Sleepover 2pm - 10pm (active) then 10pm - 6am sleepover
