We are looking for a passionate Project Team Leader to Join our Age Discrimination team to lead a project team in developing and delivering a program to address ageism in aged care, health and other settings. This will include through developing a model for workshops nationally, targeting individuals and organisations who work with older people and involving examination of the assumptions and stereotypes commonly associated with ageing and older people.
This full-time / part time, non- ongoing position offers a competitive salary range of $115,892 -$129,580 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation.

What You'll Do:
- Provide strategic and effective project management to ensure that all project objectives, milestones and deliverables are met and delivered within the resource allocation available and agreed timeframe, effectively managing any risks or escalated issues.
- Lead the development of business planning to expand the reach of the project within the aged care and health sectors, and into other significant settings such as employment related settings for older persons.
- Manage contracts, procurement, recruitment and other processes judiciously.
- Deliver a monitoring and evaluation framework for the project and continuously monitor progress and outputs to ensure compliance with the Commission's contractual and broader legal obligations as an independent statutory agency.
- Provide strategic and high-level advice to the Age Discrimination Commissioner and Commission on key policy issues identified to inform future policy development in the age and ageism space, including in health and aged care settings.
- Lead the development and maintenance of effective relationships with government, community and other key stakeholders, especially in the aged care and health sectors.
- Gather information from a wide variety of stakeholders and other sources to identify opportunities to grow and scale up project activities and reduce ageism more broadly in the community,
- Lead and supervise the project team and contribute to Age Discrimination Team's broader program of work.
