About the Opportunity
The Operations Manager – Projects will play a pivotal role in overseeing Greenfield & Brownfield SMP construction projects within the Energy and New Energy sectors. With a focus on Gas Infrastructure, Processing & Hydrogen Facilities, Secure, lead, Plan and control projects within the portfolio to ensure successful project delivery through assigned Project Managers.
Your day-to-day includes:
- Build and manage key client relationships, maintaining a strategic role in client liaison.
- Driving business development activities within select markets to ensure sustainable order book maintained through pursuit of existing and new client contacts.
- Management of Sector Business Operations and Projects, ensuring the efficient utilisation of internal and external resources and people.
- Oversee the project performance in relation to HSE, quality, financial, commercial, and technical parameters on all projects in within the portfolio.
- Liaise with the global Altrad Group to identify technologies for implementation within the local market.
About you
- Extensive experience in the engineering and/or construction industry. Experience with construction of Gas Infrastructure, LNG & Hydrogen facilities would be advantageous.
- Experience in a similar position managing multiple SMP construction projects up to $50m.
- Strong leadership skills with extensive expertise in managing fabrication, Greenfields / Brownfields construction, or maintenance services.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results within scope, budget, and timeline.
- A good understanding of, and experience with, the business challenges impacting upon business in different life cycles.
