About the Role
As Director, Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO), you will lead the implementation and establishment of our new ePMO function within LAQ to drive alignment between project activities and strategic objectives.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the ePMO team in the delivery of its core functions: Strategic Alignment, Project Governance, Benefit Realisation, Dependency Oversight, Reporting, Project Management (PM) Centre of Excellence (COE) and Change Management (CM) COE.
  • Drive project collaboration across the Senior Leaders Group regarding strategic objectives, project prioritisation, to optimise benefit realisation and address roadblocks or issues.
  • Coach LAQ executives and Senior Leaders through ePMO processes and reporting.
  • Assess the quality of project artifacts and make stage gate recommendations.
  • Establish, embed and maintain the ePMO function within LAQ to elevate the strategic alignment of project activities.
  • Provide up-to-date, timely and pro-active reporting to the Executive Leadership Team to facilitate decision making.
  • Monitor the level of project management maturity and quality across LAQ and identify opportunities to elevate this.
  • Establish a culture of continuous development and improvement for project delivery and change management.
  • Provide direction, guidance and leadership to staff, manage their work performance and provide appropriate feedback, to ensure that outcomes are met.
  • Model the values of respect, quality and accountability.
  • Maintain a high standard of practice through governance and risk management.

How You Will be Assessed
The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following capabilities:

  • You have knowledge of and experience in multidisciplinary portfolios, including project and change management, with the ability to apply and tailor principles, processes and tools from a range of recognised methodologies and align these to suit organisational culture and objectives.
  • You have experience leading Project Management Office functions at an enterprise level with a broad background in Project and Change management. You also have broad knowledge of human resource functions and can contribute to the professional development of others including, providing clear guidance, constructive feedback and mentoring.
  • Your leadership and communication skills effectively facilitate collaboration, collective decision making and conflict resolution while maintaining an open and transparent culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • You demonstrate good judgement and pursue the achievement of organisational objectives. You promote a culture of excellence and advance best practice.
  • You build and sustain relationships and drive collaboration. You role model a passion for self-development and engage in collaboration and development opportunities.

Other Desirable Requirements
There are no mandatory requirements or special conditions for this position however, Project Management Practitioner and/ or Change Management Practitioner (or equivalent) certificates in at least two different methodologies will be highly regarded.
