Job Description

YOUR ROLE


The Mission Data Analyst is a newly established position created to support the transformation and renewal of school improvement processes across MACS. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, collection, analysis, and reporting of faith-informed data to support strategic decision-making and enable the flourishing of Catholic mission in MACS schools. You will contribute to the implementation of a renewed school improvement strategy, ensuring alignment with MACS’s vision for effective Catholic education. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in educational data, a passion for Catholic mission, and a desire to drive meaningful change through evidence-based practice. You will work collaboratively across the Catholic Mission and Identity (CMI) directorate, which plays a central role in guiding school communities to live out MACS’s strategic direction through faith leadership, formation, and mission alignment.


WHAT YOU WILL DO



  • You will design and manage systems to collect, analyse and report on data that measures school effectiveness and mission alignment.
  • You will lead the development of processes and tools to evaluate the impact of Religious Education, Faith Formation and Discipleship programs.
  • You will contribute to the refinement and implementation of the School Improvement Framework (SIF) Rubric and associated review activities.
  • You will support the planning and delivery of professional learning that builds school and system-wide capacity in using data for faith-based improvement.
  • You will collaborate with internal teams and school leaders to co-design strategies that embed Catholic mission into school review and improvement practices.
  • You will apply research-informed approaches to ensure data insights effectively support MACS’s evangelising mission and strategic priorities.

ABOUT YOU



  • You bring strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to communicate insights clearly through visual reports and documentation.
  • You demonstrate excellent time management and project coordination skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • You are highly proficient in using databases and Microsoft Office tools, with experience maintaining accurate records and supporting system-wide projects.
  • You thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team, maintaining professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • You bring experience in supporting large-scale educational or strategic projects, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
