We are on the hunt for experienced Assemblers / Production Assistants / Factory Hands to join our client, an iconic Australian Doors manufacturing business in Dandenong South . These positions will be on a full-time ongoing casual basis and include assembly and production of high-end doors.
Working in a team, your other responsibilities will include:
- Processing materials and assembling components to required specifications and quality standards using a variety of hand tools, power tools, machinery and drop saws
- Operating and cleaning production machinery/equipment after use
- Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operating Manuals in an efficient manner
- Supporting team members to ensure production goals and deadlines are achieved
To be successful in this role, you will be expected to demonstrate:
- Ability to lift up to 25+ kg
- Mechanical aptitude and an ability to read basic assembly diagrams, with strong attention to detail ensuring correct assembly, positions, and orientation.
- Current Driver's License and own reliable vehicle
- Previous experience working with hand and power tools in a similar role, or trades-assistant role operating production machinery will be advantageous.
