The Associate Brand Manager position plays an important role in the ANZ Brand Marketing Team to help drive consumer engagement and deliver the best 360 LEGO brand experience.
Core Responsibilities
Reporting to the Brand Director, you will play a central role in the marketing team as the product expert and be accountable for driving performance aligned with success metrics.
Brand Planning, Implementation and Support (60%)
- Be the product and audience expert for various themes across our Preschool (parents of kids 0-5) and Boys First (kids 6-12) portfolio.
- Learn how to develop and implement innovative marketing plans, grounded in insights that drive brand equity and build active consumers.
- Build a “one team” approach; collaborating with a variety of functions across Marketing, Sales, Operations and Business Intelligence, to ensure alignment with strategies and achievement of objectives.
- Monitor competitive landscape and develop strong consideration for impact on theme plans.
- Learn the pricing and assortment process with the support of the wider brand team; providing recommendations for your portfolio.
- Be an active member of the Global Brand Marketing Network for your respective themes
- Input into the development of the ANZ Marketing Strategy, objective setting process and consumer communications planning.
- Support the brand team with large campaigns, projects and tasks as required.
- Weekly analysis and evaluation of theme and product performance. Learn to work collaboratively across all functions to identify and implement short term tactics to improve performance as required.
- Lead consumer sales recommendations for your themes; which includes monthly forecasting and active participation in the S&OP process.
- Have a continual improvement approach; achieved through commercial performance review and analysis, campaign after action reviews, global case studies and performance benchmarks.
- Plan and run budgets related to multiple brand projects and marketing campaigns.
- Create and develop high quality marketing materials that align with the overall brand strategy.
- Coordinate the (bi-annual) new product presentation retailer events.
- Be the brand lead for the annual Toy Fair trade show.
You will be part of the ANZ Marketing Team who excel in converting first class consumer and shopper insights into compelling, creative and innovative business and communication programs, underpinned by a strong commercial understanding and focus.

- Strong presentation skills
- Sound understanding of marketing principles
- Strong organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise and run projects
- Efficiency in multitasking
- Passion and enthusiasm for Brand and / or Marketing!
- Previous experience / exposure to working with media agencies on ATL campaigns is ideal
- Experience within product marketing an advantage
- Strong initiative and enthusiasm to take on new tasks
- 2-3 years experience as a Marketing Assistant / Coordinator
