Senior Business Intelligence (Power BI)

What are we after?

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Consultant who is keen to progress their career and grow their technical and leadership capabilities. You will be a curious, adaptable and perceptive professional, who can interpret and understand client requirements whilst leading design activities and mentoring junior consultants as you build dashboards and visualisations alongside your team.

We work across a range of cloud platforms building mission critical data platforms for clients across various industries. We have key partnerships with Microsoft and Databricks. You will bring significant experience in delivering business intelligence platforms including significant experience with Azure technologies/key Business Intelligence and Data profiling skillsets (DAX, MDX, Power Query, SQL, Python).

What are the essential skills and qualifications?

• Advanced Power BI, DAX and SQL skills & experience (Tableau experience is great too)
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud services
• Expert in development of Analysis Services tabular models with Visual Studio along with Azure Runbooks and Alerts
• Proven ability to write and tune complex, accurate and efficient SQL and DAX queries
• Experience with Power BI report development and Power Automate
• Experience in querying data warehouses with a good understanding of data warehousing design principle.
• Demonstrated experience writing clear and accurate documentation of technical systems, for consumption by non-technical people
