As CSB’s Data Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in unlocking data-driven insights that fuel smarter, faster decisions across all departments. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency and overall business performance. With a passion for collaboration, you’ll partner cross-functionally, translating data into actionable insights, managing key dashboards and reports, and presenting findings in clear, practical formats to stakeholders at every level. You’ll also take the lead in consolidating, simplifying, and optimising reporting systems across the business, ensuring key stakeholders have access to the right data, at the right time, in the most efficient way possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Infrastructure & Reporting
- Own and manage our data lake, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility.
- Develop and enforce governance policies and standards for clean, organised, and reliable data.
- Design and maintain business-critical reports and dashboards that deliver clear, actionable insights.
- Standardise reporting processes across teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Define and document core business metric formulas and calculations.
- Act as the central authority on metrics to ensure consistency across reports, dashboards, and analysis.
- Champion a data-led culture across the business, promoting informed decision-making.
- Analyse trends in product performance, customer behaviour, sales, and market dynamics to identify strategic opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to shape business decisions through clear, evidence-based analysis.
- Act as a critical, objective voice on major initiatives, using data to assess risk and opportunity.
- Deliver impactful reporting and recommendations that help teams understand performance and pivot where needed.
- Identify inefficiencies, unnecessary costs, and opportunities for savings or reinvestment.
- Highlight areas of high ROI or emerging opportunities based on data trends.
- Partner with finance and operations to model scenarios and assess the financial impact of changes.
- Work with key departments (marketing, brand, ecommerce, CX, product, ops, finance) to translate business needs into effective data solutions.
- Provide training and support on data tools and interpreting reports to build internal capability.
- Stay up-to-date on analytics tools and best practices in retail and fashion.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve data processes, reporting efficiency, and analytical impact.
- Passion about female empowerment, diversity and inclusion in the fashion industry.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to zoom out to see the big picture—then zoom back in to deliver practical, grounded solutions.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; you can explain complex concepts in simple, relatable terms.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL or other database querying languages is highly regarded.
- Familiarity with e-commerce tools (e.g., Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Analytics).
