The Opportunity
As our Operational Manager, you will fulfil a key leadership role that is accountable for the efficient and effective management of all human and material resources within Clinical Services. This will see you responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating practices, processes and services within our site.
You will manage the clinical flow and oversee hospital operations after hours, including weekday afternoons, nights and weekends.
In this role you will work with and support other managers in achieving excellence in care delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirements. This is a hands-on role requiring an exceptional candidate that can lead, coach, and inspire others through their actions and work alongside our team of clinical employees.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced Registered Nurse with a broad range of clinical skills. Your positive attitude will enable you to work effectively alongside our team of professionals and independently as required. In addition, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to care for our patients in line with our Ramsay core values.
Current registration with AHPRAMinimum 5 years nursing experience in an acute care settingTertiary qualifications in Nursing and extensive clinical skills and experienceSound understanding of contemporary Human Resources Management practicesAbility to effectively plan and manage financial, human and material resourcesAbility to act as an effective role model in the area of clinical practiceExcellent interpersonal skillsDemonstrated understanding of current relevant guidelines, regulations and standards
Desirable
Ability to lead and motivate othersPost graduate qualifications in a clinical specialty areaPost graduate qualifications in Health Administration and/or ManagementPrevious experience in a management positionSound Computer skills in MS Office programs (Word, Excel & Outlook)

Requirements
Must provide aNational Police Check conducted within the previous 12 monthsAccording to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
