Our client, a long standing and successful industry Superfund is seeking a mid-level lawyer to join the legal investments team.
This is an exciting time to join a leading brand with substantial funds under management and an impressive growth trajectory.
The fund invests in private and public markets and cross multiple asset classes domestically and internationally. The role reports to a Senior Legal Counsel and will involve working alongside senior lawyers and supporting portfolio managers to help shape the investment strategy and to ensure the fund’s investment objectives are realised, protected, and conducted appropriately.
The focus will be on debt fund investment work and related matters.
Key responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating financing, facilitation and intercreditor agreements
- Managing legal workstreams for direct debt transactions
- Supporting the broader team
- Research, and providing training to the business
- Managing external legal counsel
Experience and familiarity within a commercial investment and/or finance environment would be well-regarded. Applications welcome from lawyers with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE gained from a commercial law firm or similar in-house environment.
