The Role
Our Wetherill Park site in Sydney is our Milk Based Beverages (MMB) hub for the eastern seaboard. The site manufactures both Fresh and Extended Shelf-Life products, including our short pack format MBB and Ultra Heat Treated (UHT) long-life unrefrigerated milk. This state-of-the-art facility has benefited from past and ongoing large-scale investment and produces 75 million litres of some of Australia's most loved dairy products including Dare Iced Coffee, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Big M.
We have a great opportunity for a Production Operator to join the team! You will be responsible for ensuring all production functions are carried out in an effective, efficient and timely manner and for delivering product safely, of the highest quality, at the lowest cost, with minimal waste in the correct quantity.
We don't require previous manufacturing experience, however strong problem-solving skills, Mechanical aptitude and positive attitudes are highly regarded.
Please note candidates must be flexible working 12.33 hours per shift Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6am to 6.20pm, 3 days on and 4 days off.
Responsibilities

Working in positions throughout the production department involving all aspects of manufacturing operations

Adherence to our quality, safety and environmental systems and practices

Documentation as required by our HACCP system

Assisting maintenance team in trouble shooting of equipment as required

Participation in continuous improvement activities
About you

Comfortable using technology for production, safety, quality, and reporting

Exceptional team player, and communicator who builds strong and constructive relationships

A passion to deliver the sites KPI’s and implement continuous improvement
-
A strong Goods Manufacturing Practice and hygiene focus

Intermediate mechanical aptitude
-
Forklift licence or ability to get one
