This role is fixed term contract for 9 months and can be based within the Essential Energy footprint.
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technology Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex technology changes in line with our Data Centre Strategy. Ensuring the project aligns with Essential Energy's Technology Roadmap and Transformation Portfolio. You will lead specialist infrastructure teams, manage budgets, and deliver executive-level status reports, all while fostering a collaborative approach with stakeholders.
- Manage highly complex technology-based changes in line with Essential Energy's standards.
- Lead and mentor technology change specialists and teams to achieve project goals.
- Oversee the financial budgets and schedules for technology changes.
- Deliver regular executive-level status reports on project milestones, risks, and issues.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
About You
You are a seasoned professional with a strong background in managing technology projects and teams. Your leadership skills, combined with your ability to navigate complex technical environments, make you an ideal candidate for this role. You are adept at influencing outcomes and have a proven track record of delivering technology changes that drive business benefits.
- Extensive experience in technology project management. Experience with Infrastructure projects requiredtrong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to deliver high-quality executive-level reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications
