Move Bikes is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electronic Equipment Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of its growing fleet of electric bikes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the ongoing reliability and safety of electronic systems critical to bike performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic components on electric bicycles, including batteries, controllers, sensors, and wiring.
- Diagnose faults in electronic systems and perform timely repairs to reduce downtime and maximise fleet efficiency.
- Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance on e-bikes to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with mechanics and customer support teams to identify recurring issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate service records and report on performance or safety concerns.
- Stay up to date with emerging e-bike technologies and maintenance best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and industry standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant Qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of electronic systems, battery technology, and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Salary :
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $90,000 plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
