Our client is a well-established boutique accounting firm based in Oran Park, seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join their supportive and collaborative team.About the Firm:
- A growing practice with 4 staff in Australia and 1 remote team member
- A strong focus on business groups, individual associates, and SMSFs
- Minimal personal tax returns – this is a role with variety and depth
- Offers both compliance and consulting services
In this role, you will:
- Manage your own portfolio of clients, including small to medium business groups, individual professionals, and SMSFs
- Prepare and review financial statements, BAS, IAS, and income tax returns
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
- Provide tax planning and business advisory support to clients as required
- Liaise directly with clients, building strong and trusted relationships
- Supervise and mentor junior staff when needed
- Contribute to process improvements and maintain best practice standards across the firm
- Flexible hours – choose a 4-day week or 5 days with some work from home
- Supportive environment – training support provided, with access to Knowledge Shop and opportunities for further education
- Modern tools – the firm uses Xero software
