About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to support a major infrastructure program through the effective management of the Independent Consultant Deed . This long-term contract (3 years) offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in a high-profile NSW government initiative, working closely with commercial, regulatory, and delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer the Independent Consultant Deed, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
- Monitor contract performance, track deliverables, and escalate risks as necessary.
- Liaise with internal teams and external consultants to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
- Provide clear and concise contract reporting to the Commercial and Regulatory Director.
- Support the Commercial & Finance Service Provider team in contract negotiations and amendments.
- Ensure all activities align with government and organisational policies and procedures.
- Resolve contract-related matters across workstreams with efficiency and accuracy.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in contract administration or management on major infrastructure projects.
- Experience working under an Independent Consultant Deed or with Independent Consultants.
- Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the energy or transmission sector.
- Background in project delivery phase contract management.
- Tertiary qualifications in law, business, or a related discipline.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capability.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- High attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Proactive, solution-focused approach to contract issues.
