Base salary will be in the range $80,523 - $89,505 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 5)

We are seeking a Senior Research Assistant to join the Infection Prevention and Vascular Access Group under the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work. In this role, you will provide research support at all states of the research life-cycle within the group.
Key responsibilities will include:

Supporting the development of research project documents, including ethics and governance submissions, study protocols, case report forms, presentations for meetings and the development of databases to capture trial data under the supervision of senior staff

Undertaking literature searches and reviews

Assisting with routine team administration
-
Assisting with preparing reports, graphs, figures and presentations on research outcomes at different stages of the research cycle outcomes

Completion of a degree level qualification in Science, Nursing, Medicine or related discipline ; or completion of a Diploma with relevant work experience and/or clinical research experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training

Experience using RedCap or similar (desirable)
-
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
-
Ability to work independently on routine procedures
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills
-
Well-organised, methodical and self-motivated
-
Previous experience in a similar role would be considered favourably
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including the right to work in Australia, and mandatory immunisations.
