Our client has been established for over 4 decades and in that time have become a very respected and highly regarded name in commercial and industrial construction.Their in-house professional skills include construction management, design and construct, project management and quality assurance.
They pride themselves on having a balanced culture and look after their employees. Our client is currently looking to appoint a Site Manager for a period of up to 30 weeks for a large commercial project in the heart of Cairns!
Role:
The Site Manager has the following specific areas of responsibility:
- Management of trades and subcontractors on site
- Coordination of all site logistics, material delivery and resource allocation
- Implementation of OH&S policies
- Ensuring adherence to plans and specifications
- Approval of subcontractor invoices
- Liaison with Site Manager to ensure budget and time constraints are met
- Long and Short term programming
Person:
- A stable career history within the construction industry
- Project experience of up to $10m minimum
- Some experience and understanding of Civil works is preferred
- Tilt panel experience is highly desirable
- Strong construction foreman or Site Management experience with a reputable mid tier would be an advantage
- Previous experience Commercial or Industrial Projects is essential
- The ability to work to and meet deadlines
- Well organised, strong work ethic, enthusiastic, motivated, honest, high level of integrity
