CELOTTI WORKFORCE is recruiting for a Business Development Manager on behalf of a pioneering InsurTech startup that is redefining the future of insurance through technology and data-driven solutions.This is a unique opportunity to join an early stage business where you’ll play a key role in building and nurturing long-term client partnerships, contributing directly to product feedback, growth strategy, and customer satisfaction.
We’re looking for a commercially minded professional who thrives in a startup-style environment and enjoys working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders. This is not a remote-only role, the successful candidate will need to be engaged and present, with regular in-person meetings, team collaboration, and participation in local events.
While preference will be given to candidates already in the NT, we welcome applications from across Australia, and internationally, from individuals who meet the brief. Applicants from the UK, US, or similar backgrounds with excellent English communication skills are encouraged to apply. Visa sponsorship may be available for the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships, with a focus on long-term value and retention.
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs and work closely with the tech team to deliver tailored solutions.
- Proactively identify expansion opportunities within the existing pipeline and customer base.
- Represent the business at conferences, events, and client meetings.
- Stay across competitor activity, market insights, and industry trends.
- Act as the bridge between customers and the product team, providing valuable feedback to help shape development.
- Available for regular in-person engagement – Darwin-based preferred, or willing to travel frequently.
- Experienced in B2B client engagement, account development, or consultative sales (preferably in SaaS or tech).
- Strong relationship builder – with a focus on quality, consistency, and long-term outcomes.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-evolving startup environment.
- Proficient in CRM tools, performance tracking, and digital client communication.
- Curious, collaborative, and driven to support both client success and internal product evolution.
- Tech-savvy, adaptable, and eager to grow with a purpose-driven team.
