Position Summary
This is a fulltime permanent position, and the Administration Officer is responsible for the professional and efficient functioning of the office reception area and for providing administrative support to all areas of the organisation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in an Administration Officer role (or similar).
- Experience working within the aged care or healthcare sector (preferable).
- Maintain a welcoming environment at reception by greeting visitors and assisting with their enquiries, either directly or by contacting the appropriate department or person.
- Receive and direct emails, phone calls and messages to the relevant member of staff.
- Providing telephone support to the client's service team.
- Receiving and dispersing Alzheimer's WA's deliveries, mail, and other items.
- Maintaining records of mail-out quantities and costs per department.
- Assisting with raising purchase orders.
- Assisting in maintaining client and staff databases and files.
- Provide high quality administrative support to all departments.
- Undertake general administrative tasks of the other departments as and when required, including maintaining databases and files.
- Ensuring office facilities are well maintained and stocked.
- Checking office supplies and processing stationery and other office consumables.
- Reporting any faulty equipment or necessary repairs to the asset manager.
- Participating in and assisting with the coordination of the organisation's events and activities where practicable.
- Performing other duties as directed by the Executive Officer or Senior Leader.
- Salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum.
- 5 weeks of annual leave and 17.5% leave loading.
