The Role Due to sustained growth and a healthy pipeline of mining and civil infrastructure projects, our client is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Estimator to join their commercial team. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering competitive, accurate tenders and driving successful outcomes across major mining and civil contracts.
What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for mining and civil infrastructure projects
• Interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
• Working closely with engineering, procurement, and project delivery teams to ensure practical and competitive bids
• Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to gather and negotiate pricing
• Contributing to tender strategies and presenting to senior stakeholders

✅ What You Bring

• 4+ years’ experience as an Estimator within mining, civil, or heavy infrastructure
• Strong understanding of first principles, estimating and cost planning
• Proficient with estimating software (e.g. Expert Estimation, Candy, or similar)
• Sharp attention to detail with excellent analytical and commercial acumen
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
