We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and deploy scalable business intelligence solutions that enable informed decision-making and strategic planning.

Role Overview


As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for translating complex data into meaningful dashboards and reports. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights using Microsoft Power BI.

Key Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and deploy visually compelling dashboards and reports in Power BI.

  • Connect to various data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Azure, Excel, SharePoint, APIs) and transform data using Power Query and DAX.

  • Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability.

  • Implement row-level security (RLS), scheduled refreshes, and workspace governance.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and present analytical findings.

  • Assist in creating documentation, user guides, and training materials.

  • Integrate Power BI with tools such as Power Automate and Azure services where applicable.

  • Maintain and improve existing reports and dashboards based on user feedback.


Required Skills and Experience


  • 3+ years of experience in BI development, including 2+ years with Microsoft Power BI.

  • Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling.

  • Experience working with large datasets from relational and non-relational sources.

  • Proficiency with SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts.

  • Experience using Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse) is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

  • Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or related certification.

  • Familiarity with Zoho Analytics, Tableau, or Qlik is advantageous.

  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks.
