We have 13 offices across Victoria and New South Wales and employ over 400 staff.With a large variety of projects, we are seeking a Licensed Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant industry experience to join our team in Geelong.
As a Senior Surveyor in this role you will be involved in:Undertaking Cadastral and Re-establishment SurveysCompiling Survey plansSubdivisionsLease area surveysProviding Geodetic and local survey controlAsset Recording – sewer, water and A-SpecFeature and Level surveysEngineering surveys – Engineering / Building set out, monitoring volume surveys, level and estate controlDrafting and checking cadastral and survey plansFinancial monitoring and management of large projectsLiaise with Clients/Councils as appropriate to ensure sound project managementPreparation of planning and certification submissions to CouncilPreparation and supply of documentation to Land RegistryTo advise the Engineer or appropriate Manager of any problems encountered in obtaining informationLiaise with existing and potential clientsReviewing workload and resourcing
Required Skills and Experience:5 years’ minimum experience in land surveyingDegree or relevant Qualification in Surveying, Bachelor of Surveying would be advantageousExcellent customer service skillsEffective time management skillsAbility to communicate and negotiate at different levelsAbility to use a range of computer software applications relevant to the roleStrong service ethic and high level of integrity
