Mel Auto Care Geelong is looking for a Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. We specialize in vehicle servicing, repairs, and roadworthy inspections. This is a full-time position with an opportunity to work in a well-established workshop.
If you have a Roadworthy License Tester accreditation (VicRoads), that will be a huge advantage, as we are actively looking for an RWC tester to join our Geelong branch.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Perform general servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light vehicles
✔ Conduct roadworthy inspections and issue RWC certificates (if licensed)
✔ Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
✔ Work efficiently within a fast-paced workshop environment
✔ Ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards
Requirements:
Must be a Qualified Mechanic in Australia (completed Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology )
Minimum of 2 years of experience in vehicle servicing and repairs
Roadworthy License (preferred but not required)
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license
