Role description:
With a growing pipeline of diverse project work we have a new opportunity for a Senior Environmental Consultant to join our Environmental Restoration (Contaminated Land) team in Vicotria and/or NSW. Joining a growing team within a larger national contaminated land team, you will be working closely with technical experts delivering medium to large scale projects both locally and interstate.
Role accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work on high profile and complex Contaminated Land projects with industry leaders;
- Work in a supportive, collaborative and positive work culture;
- Have the opportunity to help build and develop a rapidly expanding team and clientele;
- Have a strong understanding of state and national guidance pertaining to contaminated site investigations;
- Take Project Management responsibility for current small to medium projects, with larger projects on the horizon;
- Have strong data management skills, with ESdat and ArcGIS experience preferable.
- Work with national and international clients;
- Work with global experts developing and accessing emerging remediation technologies;
- Support business development through contribution to proposals and bids;
- Take an active role in managing client relationships, both within the business and with key clients; and
- Mentor and develop junior consultants within the team.
Qualifications & Experience:
First and foremost, you share our passion for improving quality of life. You have a highly regarded base of contaminated land and environmental engineering experience in government and private sectors and come to us with:
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science;
- Extensive experience in contaminated land management and remediation, ideally with PFAS;
- Demonstrated success in Project Management;
- Proven ability with technical aspects of proposal and report writing; and
- Familiarity with consultancy environments and managing key client relationships.
- Experience working on Department of Defence projects preferred
