Arcadis is seeking a passionate Senior Environmental Planner / Senior Statutory Planner to join our expanding Environmental Planning and Management team. With exciting opportunities across transport infrastructure, energy transition, and waste sectors, this is your chance to work on impactful projects that shape the future.
As part of our thriving team, you’ll collaborate with industry-leading professionals, contribute to project planning and feasibility, and support construction initiatives. You’ll also play a key role in business development, including fostering client relationships and contributing to project bidding activities.
Role accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and support planning and environmental approvals for diverse projects.
- Provide sound planning and environmental approvals advice to clients and internal project teams.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Australia.
- Stay ahead of planning and environmental legislation and policy changes.
- Oversee project delivery, including resource allocation, subcontractor management, and quality assurance.
- Manage and support the timely delivery of proposal, quotes and tender submissions.
- Drive business development through client and industry engagement.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in regional and urban/town Planning, environmental planning, science, engineering or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of proven Victorian experience in statutory or environmental planning required, ideally gained in a consultancy or State government .
- Strong project management, analytical, and research skills.
- Exceptional written communication and report writing abilities.
- A track record of client-focused project delivery with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
