About the Company
Our client is a well-established, family-owned construction business based in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs. As the business continues to grow, they are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts & Administration Officer to support their day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform accounts payable and receivable duties, including invoice processing and reconciliation

Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software

Prepare and process payroll on a weekly basis, including superannuation and entitlements

Assist with bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring

Prepare BAS and liaise with external accountants as required

Support general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management
- Assist with onboarding new staff members

Assist with scheduling, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining office supplies

Respond to phone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner

Previous experience in a similar accounts and admin role, preferably within the construction industry

Proficiency in accounting software Xero - Essential
- Experience with Employment Hero software - Essential

Working knowledge of payroll processes and relevant Australian employment legislation

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
