The Company

Our client is a regional market leader and highly respected employer across the region based on the quality of their work, approach and reliability. With decades of experience as a market leader and as a premium employer this is a role not to be missed. Currently they are looking to employ a Service Manager for one of their Central West branches in Orange NSW.
The Opportunity

Your role will be responsible for success of the Service Division of the branches operations across service quality/reliability, people leadership and meeting it’s financial (revenue) targets. You will be the direct manager of around 7-9 technicians (including apprentices) and will be the face of the service team for all external clients/customers as well as internal service issues. Your responsibilities will also include:
  • Customer service: Liaising & communicating with customers (booking new service jobs, account management, invoicing and more)
  • Service: Planning and executing efficient coordination of staff in their repairs, maintenance and servicing of all jobs
  • Administration: Invoicing, warranty claims, service scheduling, logistic management and data entry for the service team.
  • Providing strong leadership (personal, career & technical development) of the team.
  • Ensuring the service team meets / exceeds its objectives and targets.
  • Maintaining a professional and safe working environment
You
  • Strong leadership and management experience within a technical (mechanical, industrial or similar) industry.
  • Excellent communication & administration skills
  • Reliable, honest & ethical approach to leading & dealing with customers.
  • Mechanical knowledge & a fast learner
  • Process driven and the ability to identify & fix issues relating to driving a positive outcome
  • Driver’s license & forklift licence preferred
