About the role
The People and Culture team, Corporate Services function is comprised of two teams – human resources and security and facilities management. Both teams work closely together to delivery exceptional service outcomes to our staff. The role includes but not limited to:
- Managing the lease, servicing, repair, cleaning, replacement, insurance claims and disposal of vehicles.
- Asset administration including identification, acquisition; depreciation and disposal in accordance with the Financial Management and Performance Manual (FMPM) and Treasury reporting requirements.
- Conducting the Commission's annual physical asset stock take.
- Developing and maintaining an optimum maintenance and replacement strategy including assessment of asset useful life and impairment.
- Managing the cleaning, general repairs and minor alterations, and building-related issues for Green Square facilities, including liaising with building management and Commission staff.
- Managing and reviewing building maintenance agreements.
- Managing the allocation of the Commission's shared facilities and equipment such as meeting/project rooms and parking bays.
- Managing the Commission's general insurance requirements with QGIF.
