Are you passionate about shaping the education of Allied Health professionals? Join BRHS as an Allied Health Clinical Educator Grade 4 and play a pivotal role in guiding students and early-career clinicians across East Gippsland through impactful, evidence-based education and support. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to lead meaningful change in clinical education while collaborating with a wide network of health and academic partners.
The Contract: Ongoing, Part Time 64.0 hours per fortnight
The Position:
This position is responsible for overseeing the planning and provision of clinical educational support to Allied Health Teams across BRHS and other East Gippsland public health services. Working with key internal and external partners, the role will be to advise, lead & coordinate in the development, implementation and evaluation of education to support students, early graduate and graduate staff in Allied Health Science and Therapy Departments. The Allied Health Educator will serve as a resource for staff in the provision, management and supervision of student placements, including support for managing underperforming students. The role will consistently review government, health sector and tertiary requirements, and ensures compliance with directions and data/funding reporting requirements.

Key requirements:
- Current qualification as an Allied Health Professional with current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 5 years' professional Allied Health experience, with a preference for 10 years or more
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment or completion of a graduate certificate in education or health professional education or willingness to undertake
- Proven ability to lead the development of evidence based clinical education programs that encourage professional growth and high levels of clinical standards.
