Your New Role
The Reporting Lead will play a critical role in reporting on the Member Outcomes through the Risk Excellence Program.
In this role, you will work closely with members of the Program Office, Project Delivery team and the Fund more broadly to ensure reports and associated communications are timely, accurate, engaging and consistent.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Monitor the reporting calendar for all governing bodies to ensure accuracy and alignment with program requirements. (including regulators, Board, Board sub-committees, Chief Committees and Steering Committees).
- Plan out regular reporting requirements for short (e.g. next month) and long term (e.g. next six months) horizons.
- Develop knowledge of and subsequently serve as subject matter expert on different committee material review and submission cadences / requirements.
- Coordinate collation of reporting inputs from Program Office, Project Managers, Initiative Owners and Subject Matter Experts.
- Coordinate and respond to senior stakeholder review of draft reporting materials.
- Respond to ad hoc reporting requests by co-ordinating the Program Office, Project Managers, Initiative Owners and Subject Matter Experts.
- Demonstrate commitment to the Funds values, strategic pillars and leadership principles.
- Ensure our Members First culture is consistently and firmly embedded across the team.
- Contribute both functional expertise and broader leadership and business management ideas, skills, and experience as part of cross-Fund initiatives.
What you’ll need
- Experience developing and delivering professional Executive Committee and/or Board reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a capability to adapt to the nuances of each topic, situation and stakeholder need.
- High level analytical and problem-solving experience and skills.
- Sound understanding of the finance/superannuation industry and its participants, including the political, regulatory, economic and commercial drivers and requirements.
- Demonstrated capacity to work in high pressure and complex environments.
- Ability to work cross functionally to deliver sound outcomes to a broad range of stakeholders.
- Prudent judgement in decision-making, managing risks, and leveraging best practices and emerging opportunities.
- Strong relationship-building, influencing, and collaboration skills across multiple teams.
