Well… not your day’s work. Let’s talk about your day to day.
Your role is developing and building the systems that support the wizards. Mainly working on trading analysis tools, market & static data feeds, trade monitoring and real time messaging used to support trading decisions
It’ll involve taking ownership of projects through the entire SDLC, from gathering to release. You’ll collaborate with the whole team to achieve the most fluid outcomes and you will always be looking at ways to optimise, automate and improve the systems that you create.
You’ll need an interest in how this universe works. A knowledge of financial markets is advantageous and if you thrive on working in a fast-paced environment on real time applications you will feel right at home. It goes without saying that you will be an incredibly solid software engineer specialising in the C# stack, if you have any experience with WPF too it will be highly regarded.
You’ll need:

• 5+ years of C# experience in client-side development including WPF as well as server-side systems ideally with multi-threading .
• C# developer with knowledge of design, profiling, OO, multi-threading, user-interface development with experience on both the client & server side.
• Understanding of web technologies, HTML and JavaScript, if you have used ReactJS it would be beneficial.
• Previous experience running and deploying .NET Core applications on Linux is an advantage.
• Experience of real time applications would be advantageous.
