Techforce Personnel are a national recruitment agency and project management firm specialising in blue & white collar recruitment across mining and resources, shutdowns, facilities maintenance, industrial services, civil construction and the oil and gas industries .We are currently looking for a HSE Advisor to support our national client's project working across facilities management & camp management. Full RIO, BHP, FMG inductions are highly preferrable.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide the ongoing maintenance and improvement of health & safety related matters
- Ensure full and accurate health and safety records are being maintained as per compliance requirements
- Support line management in their accountability for legislative obligations and WHS Management System compliance requirements.
- Facilitate and/or participate in work area incident investigations, risk assessments and management of change processes.
- Monitor the implementation of operational safety, health and environmental policies and programs
- Ensure effective communication of HSE information across site
About You
- Cert IV OH&S (minimum)
- FIFO construction experience is highly desirable
- White Card
- 3 years' minimum experience in a mining based HSE Advisor role
- Current First Aid & CPR
- National Police Check or ability to obtain
- RIO/BHP/FMG/Roy Hill current inductions (highly preferrable)
- Minimum intermediate level across the Microsoft office suite of programs
