Maintaining a strict compliance to industry best practice and Australian government standards, our certified fire protection professionals will design and personalise a plan which meets your fire safety requirements to the letter.

Our team is comprised of specialist fire protection professionals, contractors, plumbers, sprinkler fitters and electricians who not only install, but also maintain and provide ongoing support for your fire protection system.

About the Role

This senior leadership position is a rare opportunity to make a significant impact across our Commercial Services division. You’ll oversee daily operations, lead a talented team, and shape strategy for growth, performance, and profitability. Reporting directly to the Directors, this role offers scope, influence, and the chance to drive real outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Commercial Services team, including planning staff and technical personnel

  • Oversee daily operations, resource allocation, and workflow optimisation

  • Develop and implement short- and long-term strategic plans

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, handling escalated issues with professionalism

  • Drive revenue growth and identify new business opportunities

  • Manage divisional budgets, reporting and financial performance

  • Collaborate with HR for recruitment, team development and performance management

  • Uphold a strong safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance

Please note: You must reside in the Newcastle or Hunter Valley Regions with full working rights in Australia. A competitive remuneration with tools of the trade included (work use company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop)

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, ideally within the fire industry

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets and drive profitability

  • Excellent leadership skills with a collaborative and empowering management style

  • Strategic thinking with a knack for operational excellence and process improvement

  • Confidence in engaging with customers and stakeholders at all levels

  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices

  • FSA Accreditations
