Amazon’s Retail team, located in Sydney, is looking for a Selection Program Manager with a passion for driving improvements and automations within processes that they have end-to-end ownership of. Working at the centre of the Amazon flywheel, you will be responsible for determining what are the most relevant products for customers and generating a supplier lead pipeline that enables Amazon to offer these products to customers. To deliver this, you will be required to work with cross-functional teams to generate buy-in, recruit effort, and form a consistent operating approach to relevant selection metrics across the Retail business.As the Selection Program Manager, you will be passionate about getting hands-on with data and processes to identify and act on opportunity areas that deliver continuous improvement in your workstreams. The successful candidate will be eager to learn and able to work autonomously within a fast-moving and often ambiguous environment. They will be able to effectively use written and verbal communication at both a strategic and tactical level to drive continual progress within projects and workstreams.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the deployment and actionability of selection prioritization approaches to Retail category teams
- Engage in continuous process improvement to refine prioritization models
- Plan resourcing, analyze, and report weekly and monthly metrics for your workstreams
- Achieve business KPIs for lead generation and qualification efficiency
- Design and implement automation solutions that remove manual processes and enable stakeholders to manage the business more effectively

About the team
The successful candidate's peers will be Program Managers in the direct team, in the AU business and across the world. You will regularly interact with cross-functional teams and their Leadership including commercial, program, product-tech, data science, business intelligence and operations teams.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working with cross-functional tech and non-tech teams
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills
- Demonstrated track record of delivering process efficiencies through continuous improvement activities
- Experience with large data sets and insight generation using Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce to track lead management activities
- Experience in lead generation processes
- Experience with SQL
