Assurance Reporting Coordinator Track

NSW Government
Dubbo Full-day Full-time

Description:

You’re ready to work on everything from city-shaping work, to delivering smaller-scale projects that connect regions and improve local communities.
You have the opportunity to gain a wealth of expertise and a diverse range of skills, providing insight and knowledge without losing sight of your work-life balance or wellbeing.

In this role, you'll:

Take ownership of producing quarterly System Integrity Reports that assess and report on the condition, performance and risks of track assets. Drawing on your engineering background, you will analyse asset data and incident trends across rail infrastructure, including break and rail failures, to support decision-making and ensure the integrity of the rail network.
You will lead data validation and trend analysis across complex systems in a highly engineering-focused environment, where time management and stakeholder engagement are key to meeting regular reporting deadlines. With high volumes of requests for information (RFIs) and input from a wide range of technical and operational stakeholders, you will broker strong working relationships and maintain a network of subject matter experts to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
You’ll also identify process improvements for data collection and analysis, helping the team build a more efficient and informed assurance function within a high-demand, fast-paced environment.
For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description.

About you

You hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline or have equivalent experience, with demonstrated skills in data gathering, collation and analysis. Your background includes experience in rail infrastructure—particularly in track—where you've developed a strong understanding of asset integrity, system risks, and incident trends.
Your analytical mindset and attention to detail, formed across roles in engineering, asset management or infrastructure assurance, will see you deliver accurate and meaningful reports that support safety and reliability outcomes. You're recognised as a confident communicator and relationship builder, skilled at navigating complex data and distilling insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. With strong time management skills and a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, you thrive in fast-paced environments with regular reporting demands and multiple priorities.
