Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.

The Nepean Roster office is seeking to engage an Administration Officer on an ongoing assignment. The successful incumbent will take on the role of a Team Leader for the staffing and allocations office. The position oversees and coordinates the work of the roster office and administration staff and acts as a central point of contact for nursing and wards persons staffing.
The Roster office aims to replace staffing shortfalls by facilitating adequate levels of skilled nursing staff each day to provide care for patients. This is completed by deployment of rostered staff, sourcing, and placing of contingent staff and data entry into Health Roster to ensure all changes are entered in a prompt, efficient, and accurate manner. The position involves communicating with staff at all levels of the organisation both in person and over the telephone.
