Following an internal promotion, we have a vacant Head of Engineering & Professional Services role in our Infrastructure Planning & Delivery group.
The Infrastructure Planning & Delivery Group contributes to Urban Utilities’ purpose and vision and enhances the liveability of our communities through safeguarding financial and economic sustainability of the business, planning to meet the needs of our customers and management of the long-term water cycle and our environmental responsibilities.
Reporting to the Executive Leader Infrastructure Planning & Delivery, you’ll lead a multidisciplinary Engineering and Professional Services team, delivering exceptional engineering advisory services and technical support. An influential leader with a passion for creating innovative infrastructure solutions, you will work closely with peers to enable the execution of projects that balance efficiency with effectiveness, and shape, create, and deliver integrated solutions that optimise capital, operational, and maintenance outcomes.
With an objective mindset you will provide expert guidance to senior managers, supporting the implementation of policy, projects, and change initiatives. You’ll also champion the customer to ensure a timely, cost effective, agile service delivery and supported by reliable internal support.

About You

A confident and empathetic leader with experience managing multidisciplinary teams you will have a track record of delivering engineering excellence on large-scale projects.

A collaborative professional who thrives on building partnerships and delivering value for customers you will possess a Bachelor of Engineering and be a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
